Belly fat and love handles can be pain in the butt for nearly every man and woman who want to look good and losing them can be a great task if we don’t have the right information and persistence.  Before we start I would like to share one humongous myth that people often believe which is spot reduction.

I believe in quality and truth, and that is what I always want to spread and convey to my friends.
Performing crunches and ab workouts won’t torch your belly fat or exercising your oblique won’t burn you love handles. We must understand how our body works, when we exercise, and our body uses fat which is equally sourced from all the parts, not only from belly, butt or thighs.

Don’t believe me? Legends such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kris Gethin say so as well.

Tips to Burn Belly Fat and Love Handles

 First of all stop hurting yourself by doing hundreds and hundreds of crunches and wood-choppers.

  ·     Have less carbs and fats

Excess carbs are converted into glucose which is stored in the form of glycogen which in turns accumulate fat. So control carbs and concentrate them before and after your workouts. Fats are very dense caloric energy source, so it is best for us to have them in small amounts and that to from good sources such as salmon and egg yolks.

  ·     Stay on top of hydration and nutrition

Hydration and nutrition play more than 70% of the role in our fat burning game. Water is the major component of our body, it helps with fat metabolism, proper utilization of nutrients and water soluble vitamins and the list goes on and on. Drink water regularly and follow the macro nutrient profile you set for yourself. This would force belly fat to come in to use for energy.

  ·      Meal Frequency
Our guts our also a muscle, the large amounts of food we force down, the more the intestines and our stomach would appear swollen. Even though we don’t have much belly fat our belly would look like it has a baby inside it.  Eat small amounts of food every 2 to 3 hours 4 to 5 times a day for a normal person.

Bodypower 2016 India Tour- Jaipur

Bodypower India Tour 2016: Jaipur 

You have to be blessed when you are able to question, meet, photograph and watch live, one of the best athletes and physical trainers in the WORLD.
Bodypower India tour brought Tarun Gill, Mr India and Mr World, Sangram Chaougule, Nick Orton, CEO of bodypower ltd. To Jaipur for a fitness seminar and fit factor physique championships along with many international athletes.

If you were not able to attend or are interested in the event don’t worry, we got you covered. Here we bring you the complete chronology of events with exclusive pictures and q/a.

The Beginning
The seminar begin with the introduction of the athletes by Nick Orton, the CEO of bodypower ltd.

Then came the fitness seminar and q/a, the first one to embrace the stage was the humongous, gigantic, the 7 feet tall monster weighing more than 200 pounds was Martyn Ford. This guy with his giant arms and tattoos left the crowd in awe. He has shared the stage with one of the most famous wrestlers such as Batista.

After this he called three people from the audience to demonstrate his plyometric leg workout including squats, bounce and explosive squats, lunges and explosive lunges.

Our question from him was, ‘Many a people work hard to be successful in life, but they aren’t, so, what dedication and hard work you did that you are on the stage and others aren’t?’

His answer was that he had been very luck in life. But when you are backed up against the wall, you push yourself, you work harder, you don’t give up and then you raise the bar higher and higher until you achieve the goal.

Then the stage was embraced by the one and only Mr Sangram Chougule, Mr India and Mr World and he had his unique challenge, the musical push up challenge where you had to go up and down with the music. 
Then he discussed the use of steroids and how they are banned by WADA  in the international competitions. He said that if you are definite need, only then should you use steroids and that too under supervision.
If you competing, then say bye bye to steroids.

Next up came some posing tips from learnasyoulift(tag name) where he not only showed live, how to pose on stage but also gave some precious advice to the participants.

Some of them were to cover all corners of the stage, take it slow, don’t rush and flaunt your body. 
Next up we had the very famous and the very experienced strength coach Mr Nathan Herman. He has not only trained athletes for Arnold Classic but also for Mr Olympia. He shared some very valuable advice on diet and training.

Our question for him was,’ Does ketogenic diet works?’
He said that yes it does work but he doesn’t prefers it for his client as it can be quite difficult for some people to completely go off carbs. Also it makes the physique appear less conditioned. Carb loading before a competition can also be tricky as your body will spend all energy in digesting the food and you are left with an empty tank.

Then came up one of the very loved and famous you tuber Mr Tarun Gill, his message was that we Indians have great physiques among us and what we need is physique athletes to step up on international stages.

Our question for him was,’ What do you think about the fat burners?’

He answered that all the fat burners would cost you about 2500 bucks which as caffeine as its main stimulant, so why not obtain it from the source i.e. caffeine which get in our regular coffee. Also its cost wold be around 125 to 150 bucks.

We can also opt for a chlorogenic acid supplement as it is the main ingredient that aids weight loss. We all recover and recharge our bodies while we sleep, this is why athletes take sleep very seriously. When you wake up early, you are at your best potential, both physically and mentally. I have listened many people saying we are more of a night time person, it is bullshit, as you are completely tired because of the activities you did throughout the day. Your concentration is also not at its best.

·      Proper work environment
The silence and the cool surrounding helps us focus in our work wholeheartedly. There is not much activity going around you, and the silence cannot be found at any other time of the day.

·      Stronger will power
As you fight with your mind who says, “Just two more minutes.” You strengthen your will power. Will power as strong as you make it and then you can apply it in any walk of life.

As your body is recharged, you are more focused. Also if you wake up early in the morning, you will fill sleepy as early as 9 to 10 p.m. So, you won’t keep up till late and mess up with the sleep cycles of the body.

·      Drink water before you sleep
A very funny way to follow but it does work, just drink moderate amount of water before you sleep so that when you wake up you have to get up and go to the washroom.

Also we don’t feel thirsty. So keep sipping water throughout the day even when you don’t feel like so that the metabolism doesn’t slows down.

Complex or high glycaemic carbs are the ones that take time to digest, so the digestive system slows down. Some common examples are breads, pasta, and veggies. Prefer eating them in the first half of the day and don’t over eat them.
